Hey friend,
I’ve been thinking about you.
Not in a “check the analytics” kind of way — in a real way. I know inboxes get crowded, and I know there are a hundred things pulling at your attention today. So if you’re reading this, thank you for making a little room for me in your morning (or your quiet moment, whenever you’re catching this).
Here’s something I keep coming back to lately:
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
That word still has been sitting with me. Not stagnant. Not stuck. Just… still. Quiet enough to actually hear something other than the noise. Lately life has felt like a lot of doing — and I’ve had to remind myself that stillness isn’t laziness, it’s trust. It’s saying, “God, I believe You’ve got this even if my hands stop moving for five minutes.”
If you’ve been in a season where everything feels like too much, I want you to know — you’re not behind. You’re not failing. You’re just in a chapter, and chapters end.
A little life update from the cottage: I’ve been deep in creating this season — new devotionals, new pieces, new ways to bring a little peace into ordinary days. One thing close to my heart that I keep coming back to is Grace Unfolding — a year-long, interactive journey through the Bible that I built for days exactly like the one you might be having right now. It’s not about checking a box; it’s about actually sitting with the Word, one gentle day at a time. If you’ve ever wanted a soft, guided way back into daily Scripture, you can take a peek at it here — no pressure, just an open door.
But mostly, I just wanted to check in. To remind you that whatever today looks like, you are seen, you are loved, and you are not alone in it.
I’ll be back soon with more from the cottage — more real talk, more grace, more of this journey together.
Until then, be still, friend. He’s got you.
With so much love,
Jena 🤍
